CD274 and neoplasm: As Tsuruta and coauthors reported [25], administering BMS-1—a small-molecule inhibitor of PD-1/PD-L1—at the time of day when PD-1 expression is higher on TAMs increases its anti-tumor activity, suggesting that adjustment of the most appropriate time of day to administer ICIs may take into consideration the circadian expression of PD-1 on TAMs.
