We previously reported that NAC1 disables cellular senescence, facilitates oxidative stress resistance during cancer progression, promotes a pro-survival autophagy through the HMGB1-mediated pathway, protects ovarian cancer from docetaxel treatment, and regulates glycolysis in ovarian cancer through its stabilization of HIF-1α [9,10,11,12,13].
