In the context of PCa, full-length-AR (FL-AR) and AR-V7 DNA binding site specificities, either homo or heterodimers, have been explored in several studies, but the results are inconsistent; some find that FL-AR and AR-V7 heterodimer and FL-AR homodimer binding sites exhibit significant overlap, while others report a unique AR-V7 binding profile [37,39,40,41] (Figure 2). This evidence concerns the gene AR and posterior cortical atrophy.
