Several mTOR inhibitors, including rapamycin and its derivatives, ATP competitive inhibitors, and dual PI3K/mTOR inhibitors, have been reported for the treatment of advanced renal cell carcinoma, pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor, breast cancer, gastric cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, non-small cell lung cancer, endometrial carcinoma, and mantle cell lymphoma [10–13].
