In line with these observations, along with the results obtained by Bountali et al. [14], whereby RNA sequencing revealed that MIAT silencing in SH-SY5Y neuroblastoma cells leads to the dysregulation of a diverse number of genes involved in cancer-related processes, the present study confirmed the role of MIAT in regulating the expression of core cancer genes, including CDK6, XIAP, CBL, FLT, HIF-1A, c-MYC, RELA, and NOD1. The gene discussed is RELA; the disease is cancer.
