BRAF and neoplasm: Moreover, we found that of the 107 BRAF-mutant patients in our cohort, 106 patients harbored BRAFV600E mutation, the widely accepted common mutation site of BRAF, while few additional BRAF alterations other than BRAFV600E were also identified; although the implication of which remains unknown, the synergistic effect among gene alterations may play a role in the tumor-driven process.
