MIAT and gastric cancer: Sha et al. (2018) conducted real-time PCR with gastric cancer specimens and adjacent matched regular tissues, and showed that the level of lncRNA MIAT in gastric cancer tissues is elevated. (Tan et al., 2019b) found that the downregulation of lncRNA NEAT1 significantly inhibited gastric cancer progression, while overexpression of NEAT1 induced gastric cancer development. (Du et al., 2016) showed that the expression of lncRNA WT1-AS is downregulated in the tissues and cells of gastric cancer, and demonstrated that WT1-AS may be associated with gastric cancer of tumor progression.
