As a result, the goal of this study was to look at the expression rates of CD80, CD86, and PD-L1 on paraffin sections from 80 malignant melanoma cases using immunohistochemistry, as well as to evaluate the possible correlation between these proteins and clinical features like the stage, prognosis, and survival, in order to see if these proteins can be used as prognostic markers and to shed light on new treatment modalities. The gene discussed is CD80; the disease is melanoma.
