Additionally, the levels of serum IL-6 and CRP in stroke patients after CEA were 3.08 ± 0.78 pg/mL and 3.09 ± 1.38 ng/mL respectively, which were significantly higher than those in the control group (1.02 ± 0.27 pg/mL, 1.64 ± 0.6 ng/mL, respectively) (Fig. 1I).
