After multivariate adjustment, IGF-1 concentrations were associated with an increased risk of dementia, with the HR being 1.13 (95% CI: 1.05–1.22) for the lowest vs. the second quartile of IGF-1 and 1.08 (95% CI: 1.00–1.17) for the highest vs. the second quartile of IGF-1 in the fully adjusted model 3. This evidence concerns the gene IGF1 and dementia.
