In the current study, the expression of SELENBP1 was also significantly downregulated in 45/59 cases of collected NSCLC tissues relative to their paired adjacent nontumor tissues (in 38/49 of LUAD and in 7/10 of LUSC), which further demonstrated that the expression of SELENBP1 was decreased in the most of human primary NSCLC tissues relative to their paired adjacent nontumor tissues. This evidence concerns the gene SELENBP1 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
