In a phase 3 randomized, double-blind trial of patients with hormone receptor-positive, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative advanced breast cancer who recurred or progressed on treatment, median progression-free survival was extended from 3.1 months to 7.2 months for patients receiving capivasertib plus fulvestrant compared to patients receiving placebo plus fulvestrant [37]. This evidence concerns the gene NR4A1 and breast cancer.
