EPHA5 and Hepatic fibrosis: Intriguingly, we found that some of the 50 peaks are located close to genes related to cell signaling (e.g., dscam1, epha5, ptprfb, hhla2b, cdh18, rasgef1bb, and raftlin), and are associated with liver fibrosis and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) (e.g., epha5, raftlin, hhla2b1, and gadd45a, Fig. 5B-D).
