CD3+ T cells, CD4+ T cells, CD8+ T cells, B cells, neutrophils, natural killer cells, monocytes, dendritic cells and macrophages were assayed for, and this analysis revealed a significant increase in both peripheral blood CD8+ T cells and tumour-infiltrating CD8+ T cells in DEG-treated animals relative to controls (Fig. 5l,m).
