ALB and esophageal varices: The results showed that the P values were all lower than .1 (<.10) for the Child–Pugh grade at admission, esophageal varices grade, variceal bleeding, hemoglobin, total bilirubin, direct bilirubin, albumin, serum creatinine, albumin–bilirubin grade, operative time, intraoperative blood loss, and spleen thickness.
