Except for a slight decrease in Qa2 expression, the maturation of peripheral iNKT cells, measured by the expression of surface markers (CD44, NK1.1, Ly6C, Ly49C/I) and cytotoxicity-related molecules (CD107a, Granzyme B), production of cytokines (IL-4 and IFN-γ), exhibited no substantial differences between mice with and without GvHD (Figures 1B–D; S1E, F). This evidence concerns the gene IL4 and graft versus host disease.
