CD4 and AIDS: Higher BMI (OR 0.57, p<0.001) and higher current CD4+ T-cell count (OR 0.99, p<0.5) were also significantly associated with reduced sarcopenia risk, and history of AIDS (OR 10.71, p<0.01) and protease inhibitor (PI) exposure (OR 3.53, p<0.01) were associated with increased sarcopenia risk.
