TP53 and hepatocellular carcinoma: Advanced HCC (BCLC stages C and D) was significantly associated with poorer survival (Figure 4A) than early HCC (BCLC stages 0, A, and B), as per the Kaplan-Meier survival curve [Hazard ratio (Mantel-Haenszel) HR = 14.19, 95% CI, 7.24–27.80, log-rank p-value < 0.0001).There was no significant difference in the probability of survival among those with and without smoking habits (Figure 4B), with or without TP53 (Figure 4C), or CTNNB1 (Figure 4D) mutations alone.
