TCGA database showed that both RBBP8 and ATF4 mRNA levels were highly expressed in multiple cancer types, including liver cancer, and demonstrated its association with a shorter life span in HCC patients (Supplementary Fig. S7A–D), and RBBP8 expression was highly expressed in either Ki67-positive regions or positive cells. Here, RBBP8 is linked to hepatocellular carcinoma.
