In their study, using in vitro cultured TDSCs and in vivo rotator cuff tear rat model, they demonstrated a regulatory axis in which the long noncoding RNA H19 targets and suppresses miR-140-5p, thus upregulating the expression of the downstream target VEGFA axis to promote the tenogenic differentiation of TDSCS in RCT and in tendon-bone healing.
