Ensuring the stability of Tregs is one of the major challenges for the therapeutic usage of Tregs in the treatment of autoimmune disease and prevention of graft rejection.[67, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72] Our study shows a critical role for BATF in regulating and stabilizing Foxp3 expression, thus helps to maintain Treg identity and lineage stability in both lymphoid and non‐lymphoid tissues. The gene discussed is FOXP3; the disease is autoimmune disease.
