miR10 was shown to directly regulate several transcripts of human HOX genes, such as HOXA1, HOXA3, or HOXD10. Furthermore, miR10a level changes in many types of cancer, such as glioblastoma, colon cancer, breast cancer, or acute myeloid leukemia [47–49]. The gene discussed is HOXD10; the disease is acute myeloid leukemia.
