Of the three main isoforms that are found to be mutated in cancer—KRAS, HRAS, and NRAS—KRAS is the most commonly mutated isoform, present in up to 90% of pancreatic cancer (PDAC), 50% of colorectal cancer, and 30% of lung cancer (LUAD).
