Based on an experiment performed before, in which 158 specimens from patients with LUAD collected from 2008 to 2010 in a single clinical center, and the specimens were stained with immunohistochemical markers of PHLPP1, p-AKT and p-ERK, increased PHLPP1 expression was found and it was associate with decreased invasiveness of tumor and better survival of LUAD patients (76). This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and neoplasm.
