A variety of ginsenosides including ginsenosides Rb1, Re, Rh2, Rg2, Rd, Rg3, Rg1, CK and pseudoginsenoside F11 have been demonstrated to inhibit Aβ accumulation, tau hyperphosphorylation, apoptosis, neurotoxicity, anti-oxidation and anti-inflammation by activating or inhibiting a variety of signaling pathways, thus producing an anti-AD effect. Here, MAPT is linked to Alzheimer disease.
