Early RA (ERA) vs. remission patients showed significant differences in painful and swollen joints (p < 0.0001, p < 0.001, respectively), level of discomfort and pain (p < 0.01, p < 0.001, respectively), evaluation of the symptomatology by the rheumatologist (p < 0.001), serum C reactive protein (CRP) levels (p < 0.01), and DAS28 (p < 0.0001). Here, CRP is linked to rheumatoid arthritis.
