In the presented study, differences in the expression levels of 10 key regulators of angiogenesis (ANGPT1, ANGPT2, FGF2, PDGFA, PDGFB, TGFA, TGFB1, VEGFA, VEGFB, and VEGFC) and 8 main regulators of inflammation (CCL2, CCL5, CSF2, CXCL8, IL1A, IL1B, IL6, and TNF), as well as in plasma levels of 6 proteins (ANGPT-1, ANGPT-2, TGF-alpha, TGF-beta 1, VEGF-A, and VEGF-C) were analyzed between group of patients with AAA and group of volunteers without AAA. Here, IL1B is linked to triple-A syndrome.
