One of the main conclusions of our work is that, according to the experts and the reviewed literature, first-line PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors as monotherapy can be considered the standard of care in advanced NSCLC patients with PD-L1 expression ≥50% without targetable mutations, in line with current clinical guidelines [5]. Here, PDCD1 is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
