Upon univariate analysis, we observed significant positive associations between urinary calcium and age (st. β 0.26, p < 0.01), presence of hypertension (st. β 0.33, p < 0.01), NaCl intake (st. β 0.31, p < 0.01), serum sclerostin (st. β 0.31, p < 0.01), and a negative association with the lumbar spine BMD/BMI ratio (st. β −0.24, p = 0.02).
