When the analysis was repeated after adjusting for all factors shown in Table 1, apart from chemotherapy, the breast cancer mortality rate ratios still tended to increase with increasing Ki67 score, but the increases were smaller than those in the crude analysis, taking values of 1.00, 1.10, 1.02, 1.03, 1.55, and 2.38 for Ki67 scores of 0%-5%, 6%-10%, 11%-19%, 20%-29%, 30%-39%, and 40%-100% respectively (Ptrend < .001) (Figure 2, A, middle panel).
