In patients with low albumin (<3 g/dL), 60.4% had varices, 47.6% of patients with albumin between 3 and 3.5 g/dL had varices, and only 29.5% of those with albumin >3.5 g/dL had varices with a statistically significant p-value of 0.001. Here, ALB is linked to varicose disease.
