For hypertension it was 19%, for CHD 17%, and for diabetes 23%.23 Although, overall, men with a cardiometabolic disorder did not live as long as men who did not have a cardiometabolic disorder, lifespan of men with a cardiometabolic disorder who had the FOXO3 longevity genotype did not differ significantly from men without a cardiometabolic disorder.23 Furthermore, FOXO3 genotype had no effect on lifespan of men who did not have a cardiometabolic disorder.
