EGFR and lung adenocarcinoma: To the best of our knowledge, this real‐world study is the first to evaluate the efficacy and safety of adjuvant EGFR‐TKIs for stage IB lung adenocarcinoma based on the 8th edition AJCC/UICC stage classification, which demonstrated that adjuvant targeted therapy could significantly improve the 3‐year DFS rate (98.3% vs. 83.0%, respectively; HR: 0.10; 95% CI: 0.01–0.78; p = 0.008) compared with clinical observation, regardless of whether gefitinib, icotinib, or osimertinib were administered.
