We aimed to assess the prognostic performance of NSE measured at 48 h after ROSC for poor neurologic outcome in comatose postcardiac arrest survivors treated with targeted temperature management (TTM) based on shockable and non-shockable initial rhythm and to establish NSE cutoff values for poor neurologic outcome with false positive rate (FPR) < 1% in shockable and non-shockable cardiac arrest, respectively. This evidence concerns the gene ENO2 and cardiac arrest.
