We then employed ChEA358 analysis to identify potential upstream regulators of these upregulated DEGs in both the pre-HE-to-HE in mouse and the C6-to-C7 in human. We observed that the top 10 regulators converge on the core factor MYC59 in both species (Fig. 3i, j; Supplementary Data), aligning with a prior study that demonstrated diminished HECs in the aorta upon Myc deletion58. This evidence concerns the gene MYC and hereditary elliptocytosis.
