Older age (OR 1.06, 95% CI 1.02 to 1.10) and higher BMI (OR 1.15, 95% CI 1.06 to 1.25) were associated with increased odds of hypertension, while higher T-CD4 cells count at diagnosis (OR 0.73, 95% CI 0.56 to 0.92) was associated with decreased odds of hypertension (Table 3).
