CD4 and Alzheimer disease: We found that compared to control samples, AD patients had significantly higher proportions of resting NK cells, M0 macrophages, activated myeloid dendritic cells, resting mast cells and lower proportions of CD8+ T cells, resting memory CD4+ T cells, gamma delta T cells, and M2 macrophages (Figure 2A), suggesting that those DIICs were key immune cells in AD.
