The use of a balanced ratio of CD4/CD8 CAR‐T products has shown preliminary success in antileukemic studies and has translated into an FDA‐approved CAR‐T cell product (lisocabtagene maraleucel or Breyanzi).[49, 50, 51, 52] As many patients with cancers or chronic diseases tend to manifest a decreased ratio of CD4/CD8 T cells,[49, 52, 53, 54] it is expected that cell therapy products manufactured from the SSClow cluster may further potentiate therapeutic efficacy. The gene discussed is CD4; the disease is cancer.
