In accordance with its up-regulated expression of GBM tumors compared with normal brain tissues, DARS1-AS1 showed a higher expression in GBM cell lines (U251, U87, and LN229) and patient-derived GSCs (GSC11, GSC17, GSC20, GSC262, GSC272, and GSC295), in comparison with the LGG cell lines (Hs683 and SW1783), the immortalized normal human astrocytes (NHAs), and ReNcell, a neural stem cell line (Fig. 3A).
