Ube2o ablation in two mouse models of lymphoma (an Em-Myc mouse model of B cell lymphoma and a Pten-deficient mouse developing T cell lymphoma) in which AMPKa2 is undetectable, did not produce a markedly antitumor effect, suggesting that AMPKa1 might not play a role in UBE2O-dependent tumorigenesis (Vila et al., 2017). Here, UBE2O is linked to T-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
