Previous reports have indicated that EGR2 could inhibit the metastasis of gastric cancer (Chen et al., 2019), regulate the growth and apoptosis of gastric cancer (Yang et al., 2021), and inhibit the tumor growth of thyroid carcinoma (Geng et al., 2021) and papillary thyroid carcinoma (Zang et al., 2020). Here, EGR2 is linked to gastric cancer.
