Although the OS data were not yet complete, the pooled result suggested a significantly lower risk of recurrence after 2 years of adjuvant treatment with first- or second-generation EGFR-TKIs than after ≤ 1 year of adjuvant treatment in patients with stage IB-IIIA NSCLC-positive EGFR mutations (HR, 0.57; 95% CI, 0.34–0.96; P = 0.034; Fig. 4B). Here, EGFR is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
