Zhang et al. [43] compared C-reactive protein (CRP) in blood among four groups—subjects without NRS or insomnia, those with only NRS, those with only insomnia, and those with NRS and insomnia—and found that those with NRS and with both NRS and insomnia had significantly higher CRP levels compared with those without NRS or insomnia. This evidence concerns the gene CRP and insomnia.
