Comparing the ChIP-seq and RNA-seq results identified 352 genes containing p300-binding sites with altered expression patterns in ATII cells from KOBLM mice compared with BLM mice (Fig. 2c), including the chemokine genes Ccl2, Ccl7, and Ccl12, which were downregulated in the ATII cells of KOBLM mice and contained p300-binding elements (p300-BEs; Supplementary Fig. 6c). Here, CCL7 is linked to Bloom syndrome.
