BRCA2 and ovarian cancer: We further compared the prevalence of germline P/LP variants between this study’s cohort and the White population from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) research network.22 The overall rate of P/LP variants, based on the 53 overlapping genes between panels, was similar in ovarian cancer between cohorts, but the BRCA2 P/LP variants were less frequent (36 of 945 [3.8%] vs 27 of 348 [7.8%]; P = .005) in our cohort than in TCGA (eFigure 3 in Supplement 1).
