TRIM3 overexpression has an inhibitory effect on the proliferation and cytokine secretion of fibroblast-like synoviocytes in rheumatoid arthritis (Wang et al., 2019) and can protect against LPS-induced acute kidney injury by inhibiting the IRF3 pathway and NLRP3 inflammasome activation (Li W. et al., 2022). This evidence concerns the gene IRF3 and rheumatoid arthritis.
