A study on double mutation A1762T/G1764A (TA) combined with other mutation(s) (TACO) and AKT showed that overexpression of TACO in HBV genome core promoter and phosphorylated AKT (pAKT) in HBV-related HCC tissues were independent predictors of poor prognosis after hepatectomy (80). Here, AKT1 is linked to hepatocellular carcinoma.
