GATA6 and peritoneal well differentiated papillary mesothelioma: GATA6+ macrophages, located in the peritoneal cavity, could rapidly aggregate to seal injuries and promote the repair of focal lesions, but they also formed extensive aggregates to promote the growth of intra‐abdominal tissue known as peritoneal adhesions in iatrogenic surgical situations (Deniset et al, 2019; Zindel et al, 2021).
