Similar to the findings in the original cohort, pemafibrate significantly improved the lipid profiles and liver dysfunction: an increase in HDL-C by +2.0 (95% confidence interval (CI): 0.3 to 3.8) mg/dL, and decreases in TG, aspartate aminotransferase, alanine aminotransferase, and γ-GTP by −46 (−60 to −30) mg/dL, −3.5 (−5.4 to −1.6) IU/L, −6 (−9 to −4) IU/L, and −10 (−14 to −5) IU/mL, respectively (Table S3).
