Triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) has low or no expression of estrogen receptors (ER), progesterone receptors (PR), and the human epidermal growth factor receptors (HER2; consequently, it does not respond to drugs that target these receptors [6,7,8,9] and there is currently no standardized TNBC treatment regimen. This evidence concerns the gene ERBB2 and triple-negative breast carcinoma.
